Sound presets
More than just ONE speaker.
With the numerous sound presets, we really use the potential of our digital crossovers. Different equalizers are often simply offered in order to provide a loudspeaker with different sound adjustments. Not so in our case. Each of our sound presets is a completely individually developed crossover. This means that every Econik speaker carries the DNA of several different speakers. For you this means: Depending on the application, room acoustics and personal taste, select the appropriate sound preset. This gives you the right "crossover" for every situation and therefore the perfectly fitting speaker. And the best thing about it is that we are constantly developing the sound presets. Your loudspeakers are therefore always the best version of themselves in terms of sound.
- Connect a USB stick (FAT32) to your computer.
- Download the desired sound preset and copy it to the USB stick.
Note: The file must not be renamed, otherwise it cannot be correctly recognized by the speaker. Make sure that there is only one sound preset on the USB stick. - Turn off the speaker and insert the USB stick into the USB port on the back of the speaker.
- Turn on the speaker while the USB stick is connected. The LEDs on the back of the speaker perform a rapid circular motion. The sound preset is now successfully installed and the USB stick can be removed.
Note: If the LEDs keep spinning in circles, the file cannot be read and installed correctly.

The standard preset is already pre-installed at the factory when the loudspeakers are delivered. As an all-rounder with an extremely natural tuning, it is ideal for all types of music. The even sound provides enduring listening pleasure, both at low and high volume levels. The sound impresses with fantastic stage imaging and is ideally suited for normal living or music rooms.
Wall
This preset was tuned for several applications. It's a perfect choice when the speakers need to be a little closer to the wall. This is especially true when the distance between the wall and the back of the speaker is less than 25cm. However, the preset is also very well suited to taking the bass back a bit overall, in order to give the mids and highs even more importance. The near-wall preset can also be used to achieve the highest volume levels.
Brillant
With this preset you can tease out additional details from your recordings. During tuning, those frequency ranges that are responsible for this were raised somewhat. In order to enable long-lasting listening pleasure, certain areas were also kept constant. The brilliant preset is the perfect mix of maximum detail diversity and long-term suitability.
Smooth
This preset gives you the opportunity to perfectly adjust the sound of the loudspeakers to a somewhat reverberant acoustic. Today's living and music rooms often give the treble a little too much sharpness due to the large windows. Exactly this sharpness can be removed with the soft preset. When tuning, care was taken to ensure that the details are retained despite the softer sound.
3-way voice optimized
With this preset you transform your box from a 2 1/2-way speaker into a real 3-way speaker. The fact that the front-facing bass-midrange driver no longer has to take over the bass components means that it plays a little more delicately in the mids. The result is a further improved voice reproduction. Since only the woofer on the back now takes over the bass, it moves somewhat into the background.
Lounge
The lounge preset is the perfect match to add that little bit of fun to the music. However, one should not make the mistake of considering the tuning as a pure party preset. The preset is of course particularly suitable for such events. However, some recordings clearly benefit from the additional bass foundation and the slightly more glossy treble range, even when listening closely.
Studio
This preset was made for working in the recording studio. The frequency response is absolutely linear from the low bass to the highest treble range. The loudspeaker can thus be used excellently as a tool in the production of audio and video. The tuning is not only ideal for this, but also for listening to music exactly.
Desk
This preset was specially developed for using the speakers on the desk. The sound is distorted in a very characteristic way due to the sound reflections on the desktop and the small listening distance. These are compensated with the desk tuning, so that the best listening pleasure is also possible at the desk.
Voice
Speech intelligibility can be further increased with this preset. Voices are given more prominence and emphasis. Even with films in which music and/or effects dominate, the plot can always be followed and easily understood. The preset is also ideal for pieces of music in which the voices could do with a little more shine and presence. Thanks to these properties, it creates a very pleasant depth in the stereo stage.
